Chris Marsden For England
Chris Marsden is my hero, he is bald and I want to be just like him. He is a well established member of the Southampton team, he is the best English left winger and would bring good balance to the England team if only Sven-Gorn Eriksson was not so stupid to play Trevor Sinclair
HAIR
Chris Marsden travels every 3 days to London to a top hairdresser in Mayfair, he is called Serge Grevais. This to ensure that Chris always has a trim and practical hair cut on the Saturday. I hear that Chris' best mate is Ray Wilkins who has always admired his footballing talent and hair.
More on the King
The well travelled midfielder arrived at The Dell in February 1999 for £800,000 from Birmingham and linked up with former manager, Dave Jones, who was in charge of him at Stockport. Marsden started his professional career with Sheffield United in 1987 and made 18 appearances with one goal to his name for the Blades.

After 18 months at his hometown club, Marsden moved on to play for Huddersfield, Wolves, on loan at Coventry and Notts County.

Marsden was a key factor in the club's successful battle with relegation in 1998/99, and scored two precious goals in 14 games. 1999/00, though, was interrupted by injury, although he made a successful return to action later in the season.

In 2000/01, the abrasive midfielder was an integral part of Glenn Hoddle's plans and continued to enjoy prominence under Stuart Gray.

One of the nicest guys at St. Mary's, Marsden is always a 100% performer and never lets the side down.
